The Fort Worth Museum of Science & History began in 1945 as the Fort Worth Children's Museum. The museum's name was changed in 1968 to bring in a broader audience of children and adults. Through creative exhibits the museum educates and entertains visitors, encouraging lifelong learning for the young and old.
The newly renovated museum is home to attractions like the Noble Planetarium and the Omni Theater. Over 175, 000 historical and scientific objects are displayed throughout the museum, which features exhibits like the "Cattle Raiser's Museum," "DinoLabs & DinoDig," "Energy Blast" and the "Fort Worth Children's Museum."
